Swoon

(from strings to strings, in the symphony orchestra)

Lean in with me, our bows dance together with the draw and halt of energy, control. Surprise and prediction in our sway, in our rhythm and our rest. We speed, we swoon, we slow, we raise our elbows, lower our chins, and you can see the music dance within our souls--betrayed by our intensity, our unity, our bows. We rise and land together--affected, unaffected by the passage of time, embracing sound and lull, and silence.
